Powhatan State Park Solar Trail 10 Miler & 5k

Time: 9:00am (10 miler & 5k start together)

Location: Powhatan State Park (4616 Powhatan State Park Rd, Powhatan, VA 23139)

Timing: Chip Timing (10 miler & 5k)

Parking: Free parking (cars will just need to check in at the gate).

10 Miler & 5k Courses: Maps with mile markers will be posted when finalized.

Causes: Proceeds will go to families & individuals in need in Texas (hurricane victims) & Powhatan, as well as to the PHS XC Team & Science Olympiad Team (solar initiative project).

Dri-fit Shirts: The first 150 entrants will be guaranteed custom race shirts.

Cost: 10 miler – $25 until Feb. 1 ($30 after Feb. 1 & on race day)

5k – $20 until Feb. 1 ($25 after Feb. 1 & on race day)

10 Miler Awards (presented at post-race banquet): Overall & top 3 in each age group. Overall winners & top age-group finishers will also receive Lucky Foot Gift Certificates.

5k Awards (mailed to recipients): Overall & top finisher in each age group. Overall race winners will also receive Lucky Foot Gift Certificates.

10 Miler Age-groups (must be 18 to participate): 18-24, 25-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71 & up.

5k Age-groups (ages 7 & up can participate): 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71 & up 

Restrooms: Located near & close-by the start line.

Packet Pickup: Dates, times, & locations (in addition to race day) TBA.
