Trailblazer 5k

The 2023 Trailblazer 5k is a charity run & walk on the scenic woodsy trails surrounding Powhatan High School. All proceeds go to the PHS XC team to help raise funds for an overnight NC Adidas Invitational trip in the fall. The course is mostly flat with a few slight hills. 

Event Details:

• Friday, June 16
• 6pm race start near Powhatan High School Track, 1800 Judes Ferry Road, Powhatan, VA 23139
• Walkers are welcome but *no strollers* or *pets*
• Cost: $15 plus a small online fee
• Cause: Proceeds will go to the PHS XC team to help fund an overnight NC Adidas XC Invite trip. 
• Parking: All participants should park in the student lots in front of the Powhatan High School. It is a short walk behnd the school & then through an entrance gate & down some stairs to the track. 
• Bib pick up & race day entry ($20) will start at 5pm on race day.
  
• Course: Nearly all trails with a short section near the PHS track. Mostly flat with some slight hills.
• Restrooms: Available near the track.
• A race clock will be used & results will be posted by 6pm the day of the race.
• All entries are non-refundable. If it is storming the day of the race, the race will be postoponed until Saturday, 6/17 @ 6pm.
