Boxer Brief Stay Away 5K

Due to COVID-19, Governor Northam has ordered a “shelter in place” order until June, 10, 2020, butt we are strolling for the colon during the weekend of June 6th-7th. Join us a the Boxer Brief Stay Away 5K”!  The HCB2 crew has planned an entertaining event to help our community members safely participate while supporting our cancer community. The virtual walk/run will be held over a TWO DAY period to encourage proper distancing and adherence to state and local guidelines. The 2020 event is not supporting physical gatherings and is intended to support social connections through physical distancing. Registration for the June 6th AND June 7th virtual 5K is open! All previously registered (prior to March 13th) 2020 Boxer Brief 5K participants have been transferred to the "Boxer Brief Stay Away 5K" and each will be notified regarding this modification.  All local Richmond participants prior to June 6th will receive a Signature 2020 Boxer Brief Stay Away T-shirt, Race Bib, and Finish Line towel at the drive through packet pickup scheduled for June 5th and June 6th at the Richmond City Stadium, Home of the Richmond Kickers. Out of town participants registered prior to May 22nd will be mailed their swag prior to June 5th.  Let's bring colorectal cancer awareness to your neck of the woods while getting our daily exercise! Proudly wear those race T-shirts, and race bibs, and be creative with your boxer briefs. Don't forget to take photos! A facebook event page has been created for participants to post photos, to share their route, and highlight a Team Hero.
