Miles for Martin (Virtual Event)

Virtual road races do not require participants to be in a single location.  People from all over can participate when we choose to create a virtual aspect of an event. The process of a virtual road race is simple.  If you can not walk or run at least consider donating.  

The intention of this fundraiser is sponsored by Martin Hernandez' Cross Country teammates at Stonewall Jackson High School~Quicksburg, Virginia to assist with

1. Paying for the cost of Martin's treatment, and enabling him to keep fighting his rare form of brain cancer without worrying about burdening cost.
2. To give him the most joyful and peaceful quality of life in his time left on Earth
3. Demonstrating the compassion and character that our youth have for one another. He is truly an inspiration to all of US>

• Participants register on our designated site.
• The participants register or make donations.
• They run/walk a predetermined distance (5K). 3.1 miles This can EVEN be done on your treadmill.
• The participant tracks their distance and time on their phone, smartwatch, or another device.
• They report their distance to event organizers
