Description
The Cumberland Education Foundation is proud to present to our community the annual Run High Bridge 5k. The event will start at the Camp Paradise entrance of the High Bridge Trail State Park and offers an out and back run across the legendary High Bridge. Proceeds will go to Scholarships for Cumberland County School graduates and grants to teachers.
Registration:
$25 THROUGH February 12th
$30 (February 13th - March 6th)
$35 Packet Pickup (Mar. 7th) & Race Day (Mar. 8th)
Family & Friends Special Pricing: (Through Mar. 1st)
Register 4 or more of your family or friends together and save $2.00 per entry.
This special discount is only available at the time of registration and cannot be combined with past registrations to qualify.
Race Day Registration:
Registration remains open on race day. Participants should register prior to arriving at our starting line at Camp Paradise Road/Aspen Hill Road (Rt. 601), Rice, VA 23966
Please note that there is no paper registration for this event.
Event T-shirt:
Participants registered through Feb. 23rd are guaranteed a t-shirt. Extras will be available on a "first-come" basis at packet pickup. If a t-shirt is important to you. Please register before our "Guaranteed Deadline" of Feb. 23rd.

Friday, March 7th from 3:00 – 7:00pm at the Southside Virginia Family YMCA, 580 Commerce Road, Farmville, VA 23901
Saturday, March 8th (RACE DAY) from 8:00am - 8:30am, Camp Paradise Road/Aspen Hill Road (Rt. 601), Rice, VA 23966

$5.00 PARKING AT RACE SITE
Due to the width of the path across the bridge, we cannot accommodate strollers and/or pets.
Awards/Timing:
Top three overall male and female finishers, top Masters (40+ yrs of age) male & female, plus the top 3 male & female finishers in the following categories: 12 & under, 13 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 - 59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Timing and scoring of the Run High Bridge 5k will be provided by Riverside Runners.
PLEASE NOTE: The High Bridge State Park is still open to the public.
