The track at Sports Backers Stadium is not available because of its planned leveling as part of The Diamond redevelopment project. While we tried to find a track, the logistics involved with lights, number of runners, and a central location prevented us from finding something at this time. Without a lighted track, we cannot offer evening track sessions, especially in February when it gets dark so early.
We will encourage small groups of A10K runners to meet at publicly accessible tracks to do their track workouts together. Guidance will be provided by coaches for these workouts.
We hope to offer the track sessions in future years if/when the new VCU track is completed.
Participants must be 16 years or older by the first training session.
Runners under 16 may request special approval by emailing adv10ktt@rrrc.org with details about running experience.
If approved, a parent/guardian/sponsor must also register and participate.
Entry into the Monument Avenue 10K is not included with A10K Training.
All race registrations must be purchased separately. Please see the link above to register for the Monument Avenue 10k.
All entry and processing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No refunds will be issued in the event of postponement or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
