2020 All Streets RVA

Mon June 8 - Fri July 10

Help us cover all 1,900 miles in Richmond

All Streets RVA

Virtual, On your own

All Streets RVA

It’s no secret we’ve all been spending more time outside – so let’s make it a challenge! Help us accomplish the goal of walking, running, or biking on all the streets in the City of Richmond…all 1,900 miles of them! Let’s show every corner of our community some love and keep a record of every place we’re getting active outside. Register for this free event, and then from June 6 – 21 get out there and get moving! Through this collective effort not only will we accomplish the biggest bike, run, or walk-about the city has ever seen, but we’ll also keep feedback on the conditions of roadways so we can make all areas safer and more enjoyable for everyone. Join in the fun, and be a part of the All Streets RVA virtual community!

Progress Map

Bike Walk RVA is a program of Sports Backers that advocates for comfortable and connected places to bike and walk for people of all ages and abilities. Protected bike lanes, paved shared-use paths, safe intersections, and calm neighborhood streets have been proven to get people biking and walking on a regular basis. Sports Backers created Bike Walk RVA to advocate for the growth of this infrastructure and to and help normalize biking and walking throughout the region.

Let’s Go, RVA! Sports Backers‘ mission is to inspire people from all corners of our community to live actively. We are a non-profit org. dedicated to producing quality sporting events & programs that motivate residents & visitors to be more active, supporting youth running & fitness programs, & advocating for safe bike & pedestrian infrastructure.

Recently, we had to stop in-person Spring events & programming. Our staff is working hard to create virtual & social distancing options including virtual fitness classes, kids physical activity videos, & fun workout challenges/events.
