It's more than just a race: by starting or joining a fundraising team, you can help ensure that children in our community have the essentials they need to be clean, healthy, and cared for. Your registration fee covers the cost of the event; additional donations go towards our fundraising goal, which will directly support Little Hands Virginia's mission of serving families in Central Virginia with children ages 0-3.

Little Hands Virginia's mission is to ensure young children have essentials from birth to improve outcomes for life. We support economically disadvantaged families by providing everything babies need to be healthy and safe, including diapers, hygiene items, clothes, car seats, pack 'n plays, and strollers. We partner with 130 organizations, including local nonprofits, hospitals, food banks, and government agencies, to reach families and ensure no child goes without what they need to thrive. Last year, Little Hands distributed over 1.9 million diapers and served 10,000 families. By supporting the Big Turkey Trot, you ensure children in our community have the essentials they need to be clean, healthy, and cared for.
