A protected and paved 51.7-mile, multi-use Trail connecting Richmond and Williamsburg along the beautiful and historic Route 5 corridor and James River, the Virginia Capital Trail is a gem of a resource for runners and walkers. All proceeds from this event support the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation's work to protect, promote, and enhance the Trail, and to engage the communities around it
