Join us for the RRRC Frostbite 12K, presented by Final Gravity Brewing Co.
This is the 37th running of Frostbite, one of Richmond Road Runners Club's signature events. Because of COVID-19, this year has to be different with an in-person option on a shorter course in a new location and a virtual option. Both events provide the much-beloved Frostbite race shirt and a finisher medal (if you meet the deadlines).
REGISTRATION LIMITED TO RRRC MEMBERS ONLY FROM 12:00 NOON TO 1:00 PM ON SATURDAY, DEC. 26!
The in-person Frostbite 12K (7.46 miles) will be run as two loops within Bryan Park on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Registration is capped at 225 runners or walkers. The chip-timed race will use staggered starts. See our COVID-19 Precautions & Procedures.
The Virtual Frostbite 12K will allow you to run when, where, and with whom you please on Sunday, January 24 (or on Saturday or Monday).
Both events are RRRC Grand Prix (GP) events for 2021. RRRC GP participants receive a race point for posting a time for either event. RRRC GP participants in the in-person race will receive place points based on overall and/or age group finish times.
