Great European 2500
The Great European 2500 is a virtual team run that will take you on the sightseeing journey of a lifetime! Assemble your crew of up to 6, 12, or 24 people and enjoy the 1553-mile journey through England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, and Hungary. The event will kick off right in front of Buckingham Palace and will take you under the Eiffel Tower, over the Swiss Alps, right past the Hofbräuhaus and former Olympic sites...basically, we'll make sure you don't miss any of the attractions! An online map will track each group’s virtual progress across Europe and a leaderboard and map will display real time standings, with groups in open, female, and co-ed categories. Bon voyage!

Tracking
It is recommended that you track your run using one of the many GPS-enabled tracking systems (e.g., Strava, Map My Run, Garmin, Wahoo, etc.). From there you will log your tracked run into the event’s site which will update the leaderboard and move your team’s dot across the course map. Manual entries without GPS will be permitted but are not encouraged for the sake of running validation.

Course
The Great European 2500 begins at Buckingham Palace in England and traverses 8 European countries on its 1553-mile journey, ending in Budapest, Hungary. Along the way, you’ll pass under the Eiffel Tower, over the Swiss Alps, right past the Hofbräuhaus, and through former Olympic sites.
Throughout your team’s journey, our group of experienced race organizers will be with you every step of the way! An online map will track each group’s virtual progress across Europe and a leaderboard will display real time standings. We’ll set up ways for you to stay connected with your team and highlight noteworthy portions of the virtual route.
