Description
Run for Mukhanyo is an hour-long kids run to raise money for worthy charities on Oct 16, 2024.
The course is on a safe cinder track across from Veritas School with ages 9 & under running a 400m loop and 10 & older running a 650m loop.
The race is planned and organized by the students of Veritas School in collaboration with the Live Red Foundation as a benefit for three great organizations. Each organization works to improve the lives of kids in local communities, from Richmond to South Africa.
The Venue
Located across from Veritas School's beautiful campus, Run for Mukhanyo is located in Richmond’s historic Northside. Within earshot of the Richmond Raceway and just north of the city, Richmond’s Northside is a sweet little neighborhood with a great collection of restaurants to visit after the event.
Description
The event is a one-hour fun run / walk for kids and friends. Participants, friends, and family pledge to donate a certain amount based on the number of laps completed in one hour.
Race Options
9 & Under
Participants will run laps on the 400m loop for a duration 60 minutes to see how many laps they can complete.
10 & Older
Participants will run laps on 650m loop for a duration of 60 minutes to see how many laps they can complete.
