Welcome to the Richmond Hockey Club Legacy Run, a race that celebrates not just the spirit of competition but also the rich history of field hockey in Richmond, Virginia. Richmond has long been a hub for field hockey with roots tracing back to local schools, colleges, and the Richmond Hockey Club, all in which helped popularize the sport in the region. Hosted by RVA Tidewater (Undertow) Field Hockey Club (formerly Richmond Hockey Club at its inception in 1922), this race honors the athletes, coaches, and supporters who have contributed to making field hockey a staple of Richmond’s sports culture. Whether you’re running for fun, fitness, competition, or legacy, you’re part of a community that continues to carry the stick forward.
