Join us for the annual RRRC Summer Track Series! Test yourself during six evenings of track races organized by the Richmond Road Runners Club, in partnership with the University of Richmond and the Collegiate Running Association. Over the six weeks, runners can participate in races from 100 meters to 2 miles and in a variety of relays on the University of Richmond's Fred Hardy Track.
For 2018, the scheduled dates are Wednesdays: June 13, June 20, June 27, July 18, July 25 and August 1.
We encourage young runners to participate. Young runners will compete in pace-appropriate heats.
The Summer Track Series is FREE -- no registration fees -- but SIGN UP is required. All participants must register, provide emergency contact information, and agree to the waiver, either online or in writing, before stepping on the track for the first time. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You only need to register once. Your agreement to the waiver applies to participation at any track session and in any event.
If you register online the same day that you first attend a Summer Track session, please be prepared to show a print-out or digital image of your confirmation email.
Please park in Lot B3 directly across from Robins Stadium.
Richmond Road Runners Club and the University of Richmond will conduct the track series under the rules and conditions established by the Road Runners Club of America. All decisions by the meet directors are final.
Track spikes must be 1/4" or less.
Gates open at 5:30 PM.
Check-in, on-site registration and sign-up for event heats begins at 6:00 PM.
The first event will start at 6:30 PM. Events will be held in the order listed. The time between events will be determined by the number of participants.
Participants for each event need to be in the starting area when "first call" is announced in order to receive heat assignments.
After the closing event, all runners are encouraged to participate in a group cool-down.

If time allows, each session will end with a Predict Your Time (PYT) Mile. The PYT winner is the entrant closest to his/her predicted times. No watches are allowed.
The meet directors reserve the right to cancel a session due to weather. Updates will be made onsite as we try to get in every meet whenever possible. We are notified by University staff if lightning is in the area and the meet may be delayed or canceled. Otherwise we will run in the rain.
