This is a 100% virtual run - but it's not your average virtual run. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Project Outside AND you have the chance to win a $600 Ultimate Runner Prize Pack from Fleet Feet!
Here's how it works:
- Sign up for The Project Outside Run for only $5 (that's a $5 donation to Project Outside)
- You can donate more to Project Outside when you register if you wish (pretty please, our outdoors need your help!)
- RUN or WALK any distance - it just has to be done during GO Fest Weekend AND outside - October 16-18, 2020
- Get a sweet The Project Outside Run presented by Fleet Feet decal - perfect for your car or your Hydroflask. Pick up at Fleet Feet GO Fest weekend! We'll mail it to you if you're out of state. (Please send an email to casey@fleetfeetroanoke.com to confirm if you're out of state)
- ENTER TO WIN AN INSANELY AWESOME $600 ULTIMATE RUNNER PRIZE PACK FROM FLEET FEET! Sorry, this is for locals only. The prize pack includes a head-to-toe Brooks outfit (shoes, bottom, top, jacket + sports bra), a 6-pack of Balega socks, and more. The winner will come to Fleet Feet to get their prize and will be treated to the VIP Fit Experience. Only registered participants are eligible to win prize pack.

Benefiting Project Outside
Introducing Project Outside.
Project Outside is a community fund created by businesses, governments, and individuals to support outdoor capital improvement projects, maintain key outdoor assets, and help launch and support businesses in the outdoor sector.
Project Outside is a partnership between the Roanoke Outside Foundation and local land managers (i.e. local governments, ATC, NPS, etc.) of identified regional outdoor assets. Project Outside funds will be used to fill maintenance funding gaps in projects or initiatives and pool resources to tackle large-scale outdoor infrastructure projects.
Project Outside is designed to help ensure that outdoor assets remain in top condition for residents and visitors.
Our kick-off goal is to raise $100,000 this year, and then keep it going. This is our time to invest in our community strength – the outdoors – to continue positioning the Roanoke Region as a preferred place to live, work, play, and visit.

The winner will be able to choose their Brooks outfit, Brooks shoes, Brooks sports bra (for a female winner only) and Balega socks at Fleet Feet. At Fleet Feet we will fit you for shoes using our exclusive 3D fit id foot scanner, and we also measure and fit for sports bras.
