5K - Dash For Dollars To Benefit Scholars

We are holding the annual 5K charity event, on May 18, 2019, to raise money for college scholarships and educational programs for students in our local community. This 5K is both a timed run and/ or fun walk held in the Algonkian Regional Park on a 5K trail. The start and finish line will be at Pavillon shelter 1. Come out individually or with your family or team. Teams are welcome so create or join a team. We will also recognize those walking for Breast Cancer Awareness. We will announce all teams, breast cancer awareness walkers/runners, sponsors and fastest time winners for each category. There will be a 1 Mile race for kids, a Pooch Parade for your best dressed dog and fun for the entire family! We are also collecting gently used or new shoe donations for "Soles4Souls"; all shoe donations welcome! Run or Walk for your team or in honor of someone else. Consider making a DONATION, it will be much appreciated!

*$20 Special Student Pricing age 13-18* 
(Price will be discounted at checkout. Student identification required when picking up racing bib/day of registration.)
*Kids 1 Mile  ages 12 and under $5*
T-shirts included for all 5K registrations by April 30th, 2019
T-shirts also available for purchase for $10

$35 Onsite Registration May 18th Fee -  Adult 5K Run/Walk 

Proceeds will benefit the Pearls of Loudoun Endowment, an affiliate of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Educational Advancement Foundation, for scholarship and educational support in the Loudoun County community.

Attention Registered Participants

Thank you for using the online registration sign-up. We are excited to be just a few days away from May18th. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming charity race. Here are a few things you should know before race day.
 
Race Bibs and T-shirts can be picked the day before the race on Thursday, May 16that the Cascades Library from 4pm to 8pm, located in the Sterling area at
21030 Whitfield Pl, Potomac Falls, VA 20165
 
·       The 5K results and finish line photos will be posted at www.commonwealthtimingsoon after the race is completed. 
 
Bibs should be worn on the outside of all clothing, in front at chest level in order to receive the best timing results.  Bibs should never be worn on your back. 
 
Just a reminder that we will be collecting gently used shoes for Soles4Souls at our event on May 18, 2019 and you are encouraged to bring a pair to donate.
 
Don’t miss the Pooch Parade (all doggy participants welcome) at the beginning of the race our new Kid-1-Mile Race .
 
Onsite registration and bib pick-up will be available the day of the race.  Note only pre-ordered t-shirt pick-up will  be available the morning of the race. There may be a just few available t-shirts for purchase. Arrive early for bib pick-up and day of registration. 8:15 am open registration, check-ins and warm-up starts at 9:15am.
 
There is still time for your friends, family and additional team members to sign-up for the race. It will be fun, family friendly, teams are encouraged and all for a great cause!
