Description
Join us for the 1st Annual Coastal Edge Shred For Bread 5k Skateboard Race! Race along the beautiful Virginia Beach Boardwalk on a flat out and back course. T-Shirts and medals will be awarded to all finishers. Plus enjoy the Coastal Edge ECSC WSL 1000 surfing contest.
Skaters will start the race on the boardwalk at 2nd street. The race will run north to 24th street and return back to 2nd Street. There will be water stations at the start/finish line and at the turnaround.
Parking is available in the 2nd street lot close to the start. There are also metered spaces available on the cross streets.
Race will be held on Friday, August 23rd at 7 a.m. Packet Pick up will be held on Friday Wednesday, August 21st from 5pm to 7pm at Coastal Edge @ 316 21st street Virginia Beach, VA 23454. Race packets can also be picked up between 6 am and 6:30am at the start line race morning.
