Race for the Cure is the signature event for Susan G. Komen, creating a sea of pink to show support for the 1 in every 8 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. The Race brings together breast cancer survivors, their families, advocates for breast health and education and the community. Funds raised by The Tidewater Race for the Cure supports breast health services within the 22 cities and counties of southeastern Virginia. Become more than Pink, take action and join the battle against breast cancer. Saturday, October 13, 2018.
