Description
🏃♀️🏃♂️ Youth Cross Country Meet
Join us for an exciting 4K (2.5 miles) or 2k (1.25 miles) cross country event. Whether you're a seasoned runner or it's your first race, this meet is a great chance to challenge yourself, cheer on teammates, and have fun in the great outdoors!
📍 Event Details:
- Date: Sundays 9/20/26, 9/27/26, and 10/11/26
- Time: 4pm Start
- Location: Kellam High School cross country course
- Distance: 4 kilometers or 2 kilometers
- Grades: 6th–8th grade runners (4k course)
- Grades: 1st - 5th grade runners (2k course)
- Cost: $10 entry (Free for Tidewater Strider members)
🥇 What to Expect:
- A flat fast course with grass and trails
- Team spirit, friendly competition, and great sportsmanship
- Snacks and water provided at the finish line
- Lots of cheering and encouragement from coaches, parents, and teammates!
