The Battlefield to Boardwalk Virtual Summer Challenge is an exciting way to explore some of Virginia’s most historic sites and experience the beautiful boardwalk at Virginia Beach. Your virtual journey will begin at the Third Battle of Winchester and end at the Neptune statue at the Virginia Beach boardwalk. After leaving this historic battlefield, you'll continue on your trek to Virginia Beach. As you run or walk your way to the beach, you'll pass through quaint towns, stunning landscapes, and magnificent monuments. Once you arrive at the Neptune at the Virginia Beach boardwalk, you’ll have completed the challenge and earned your reward – a sense of accomplishment and a memorable experience. The course, from end to end, is 308 miles. Not challenging enough? Turn around and make your way back to Winchester before the end of the challenge!
