SU Color Charity 5K Walk, Run, Roll

SU Charity 5K Walk, Run, Roll is being put on by Shenandoah University's Division of Occupational Therapy. The race will be a COLOR RUN; however, if you want to participate and not get color thrown on you then you can notify us by wearing a band on your arm. The course is ADA compliment so all needs are welcome and catered to.The race encourages individuals of all ages and abilities to come out and participate. 70% of the proceeds will benefit the general needs of Jill's House. Jill's House provides respite care for families with special needs and gives them opportunities to participate in activities that may be inherently difficult. 30% of the proceeds will benefit Shenandoah University's Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA). Shenandoah University's SOTA chapter is a group of first and second year students who strive to give back to the community through events such as this 5K and other fundraisers through our 501C3 status. SOTA also empowers students to grow in their knowledge, clinical skills, and professional skills through promoting conferences, research, and community involvement.
