UVM DPT Club 5k and 1 Mile Walk!

Hello runners! 5K alert! UVM’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is hosting a 5K on Saturday, June 6th, 2026. Check-in begins at 9am, and the race begins at 10am and the 1 mile walk will begin at 10:15am. Registration is $10 for the 5k and $7 for 1 mile walk. Additional donations are accepted if you would like to give a little extra love to your future local physical therapists.

 Costumes are encouraged as it is a costume-themed race with a prize for the best costume at the end! We will definitely be dressing up and we would love it if you did as well, but this is of course not required for participation. 😊 Runners and walkers are welcome. Please leave your furry friends at home for this one.

Extra perks: There will be a 50/50 raffle and bake sale on site.

About the course: It is an out-and-back race starting and finishing at the back of the Gutterson Fieldhouse, under the Gucciardi - Campus Recreation Fitness Center overhang on UVM’s campus (130 Davis Rd, Burlington, VT 05401). The race path goes along the bike path behind the university and along Spear Street. The course is entirely on the sidewalk and does not cross any roads.

 Keep an eye out for the registration link and course map which are coming soon! Proceeds go towards supporting the DPT club’s ability to attract speakers, put on events, involvement in our community, and support our program’s incoming students.
