Welcome to the special early registration for the 2027 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon. The marathon is a fast course--mostly flat with some rolling hills and one bigger climb at the midway point of each loop--through Burlington and along Lake Champlain. The M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon is a community effort, recognizing all those who have had a hand in making the race a success since 1989. The course runs through the best of Burlington, from the Church Street Marketplace to the Burlington Bike Path and offers exceptional views of the Adirondack Mountains.

The 2027 marathon will be held on Sunday, May 30th. Register now to save $$. This early registration opportunity ends on June 7, 2026. Registration will then re-open this fall.

Early registration is available for the marathon and wheelchair races  only.
