Be Brave for Life is asking you to Rise to the Challenge and help us travel virtually from our founder Riley's hometown of Pawlet, VT to Los Angeles, CA. That's right, from coast to coast - 3000 miles! We'll stop along the way to "pick up" Riley in Nashville, where she's attending her first year of college.
We're going to work together as we raise money and awareness for non-cancerous brain tumor research.
We hope you will be able to join us on October 31st in Vermont for a special hike to celebrate all that we have accomplished together!

The Why
In 2015, Riley Callen, Burr & Burton Academy Class of '21 graduate, started Be Brave for Life after her third brain surgery to remove a tumor in her brainstem. Be Brave for Life's mission is to inform, support, and improve the lives of individuals affected by brain tumors and cerebrovascular disease. We believe that the only way to find better treatment options and a cure is by supporting innovative research, improving collaboration, and creating a community around bravery and hope.
