Yes! The event is open to everyone. You don't need to live in Verrafo to join the run.

Yes, strollers are welcome. If you'd like your child to receive a bib and a finisher medal, you'll need to register them.

We offer 5K and a 1-Mile fun run. Both start and finish at the Verrado Center on Main.

The 5K begins at 8:00 am and the 1 mile starts at 8:10 am. We recommend arriving 30-45 minutes early.

Race-day (will-call) pickup is available for a $10 convenience fee this can be added as an add-on through your registration or the day of the race through exact cash or card.

Race day registration is not guaranteed. We have a participant cap this year, and only the first 800 registered runners will receive a bib and medal.

If we reach capacity before race day, registration will close and there will be NO race day registration available.

We strongly recommend registering early to secure your spot (and your bib and medal!).

Yes, both distances are chip timed, and results will be available shorthly after the run via QR code. 

Absolutely! We encourage runners and walkers of all paces to join in the fun. 

We do ask that participants complete the course within 90 minutes for safety and coordination purposes. 

Registrations are non-refundable, but you can transfer your registration to another participant. 

Yes, but please keep the volume low for safety and awareness of other partipants.

Yes. Someone else can pick up your packet as long as they have your registration QR code or confimration email to scan at check-in.

No, shirts will not be included with registation. To keep registration affordable for families and community members, we've chosen to focus on providing a fun, quality run experience instead.

Yes, age group placements will be awarded for the 5K only. Results for both the 5K and 1-mile distances will be available after the run.

No problem! You can update your race distance on your own at any time before race day.

How to update your distance:

1. Log in to your race registration account (using the same email you registered with).

2. Go to My Registrations.

3. Select the Turkey Trot event.

4. Choose Manage Registration.

5. Click Edit Registration or Change Event/Distance, then select your correct distance and save.

Parking will be available in the Verrado Middle School parking lot and in the surrounding community areas.

Please note that parking is limited. We highly recommend carpooling and allowing extra time to find a parking spot and walk to the start area.

Yes. All participants must pick up their packets during the scheduled packet pickup times. This helps us keep race morning smooth and avoid long lines.

Yes, but race-day packet pickup is limited and available for a $10 convenience fee (exact cash or card accepted).
Race-day pickup hours: 6:30 AM–7:30 AM only.
Packets will NOT be handed out after 7:30 AM — no exceptions.

This is a large race with over 800 participants, race-day packet pickup requires significantly more staffing, and resources. The additional fee goes directly to keeping race-morning operations efficient, ensure we start on time, and maintain a smooth experience for everyone.

We truly prefer that runners pick up their packets on the four different packet pick up times available. The intention for this fee is to serve as a gentle encouragement to avoid long lines and delays on race morning. Thank you for helping us keep the event organized and enjoyable for all!

You can:

• Pre-pay by selecting the “Race Day Packet Pickup (Will-Call)” add-on in your RunSignUp registration (Manage Registration → Add-Ons), or

• Pay on race morning at the Will-Call table (exact cash or card).

If you cannot attend either scheduled packet pickup, please pre-purchase the Race Day Packet Pickup add-on OR arrive early on race morning prepared to pay the $10 convenience fee.

If you pre-paid the add-on, your packet will be waiting at the Will-Call table. No additional payment is required.

After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email that includes your unique QR code. You’ll need this QR code for packet pick-up.
We currently offer multiple packet pick-up options, simply show up to the one that works best for you, show your QR code, and you’ll receive your race bib & bracelet for race day.

You will receive your medal at the finish line on race day once you complete your run.

No, no packet pickup is required for the No Bib / No Medal entry. This option is designed for participants who want to join the run without receiving a bib, medal, or race materials.

Just show up on race morning and enjoy the run with everyone else, no check-in or pickup needed!

Race photos will be uploaded to our website within the next couple of days. Once they’re ready, you’ll find them under the Photos section.
