Your job will be to help racers know which way to go at tricky corners/turns while cheering them on! Be sure to grab one of our cowbells, it makes the race more fun for the racers & you!

Details

Must be able to bike minimum 10mph on dirt and pavement. You will be leading or sweeping the 5k trail run. Must bring your own bike & helmet.

If doing the 11-1:15pm shift, you'll help with the 2k family fun run (on trails), kids duathlon races (in pavement) & 1st lap of the adults duathlon (on trails). In the kids duathlon you will point riders onward while they bike several loops in the biathlon range, allowing lead biker a 5-10min break before biking the lead racer back to the transition area. Must bring your own bike & helmet.

Details

This volunteer will be on their own bike (and wearing their own helmet), riding the course to make sure everything is going well, cheer on racers and communicate with the race director if race support is needed. You will also be in charge of letting the race director know when the last racer is approaching the finish line so we can give them the cheer they deserve!

Help with getting everyone to the start line, keeping the energy positive (possibly even lead in stretches!), help with handing out Nic's race medals during the kids race and guiding everyone towards the snack table. You'll also help with handing out giveaway prizes to random finishers!
