Details

Registration and packet pick up volunteers will be responsible for checking in walkers and runners and registering new guests. This process will all be electronic. You will be asked to utilize your own mobile device or tablet to assist in this task.

Cheer Team Volunteer

Details

Cheer Teams will serve as the main source of fun and encouragement for walkers and runners. All cheer teams will be given a vest and shaker. Cheer teams are encouraged to bring Bluetooth speakers and play music on the course.

Course Marshal Volunteer

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Course Marshals will be paired in two’s along the race routes. They will be responsible for guiding runners on the course, ensuring they are going in the right direction and notifying staff leads of any emergencies. They also serve as great encouragement to the walkers and runners.

Set Up Crew

Details

The Set Up crew will assist the RMHCA Staff team with a variety of tasks including setting up tents, chairs, and tables. This volunteer should feel comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs.

Race Day Check-In/Walk Up Registration Volunteer

These volunteers will check in runners the morning of the event, or assist with walk up registrations. Both of these processes are all electronic. Your own mobile device or tablet will have to be used.

Family Reunion volunteers will assist inside the Family Reunion VIP tent. Volunteers will help serve food, answer families’ questions and make sure that only past and current families are in the space.
