Distribute race bibs, shirts and information packets to runners. Assist with on-site registration for runners not pre-registered. Packet pickup/on-site registration is scheduled for 11:00 am - 6:00 pm. Volunteer shifts allow time for setup and breakdown on either side of this window.

Start/Finish Line Set Up

Details

Assist race organizers in setting up the start/finish area. Race equipment will arrive by truck and these volunteers will be asked to do some lifting to unload the truck and set up equipment.

Finish Line Assistance

Provide general assistance at the finish line during the race. Duties may include assisting the race timer, directing finishers to post-race activities, etc.

Post-Race Breakdown

Details

Assist race organizers in breaking down the start/finish area after the race. These volunteers will be asked to do some lifting to break down equipment and load it into a truck. Assistance taking equipment back to storage unit is highly appreciated!

Course marshalls for mid course turnaround

Details

This position entails instructing runners to turn around at 1st avenue south and 24th street mid course turn around point where the "Turn around" sign is located! It is not that far (About 4 blocks)from the mid course water stop.
