Manage Water Stations High Priority

Details

Fill cups with water and pass out cups of waters to runners/walkers as they pass the water station.

Directional/Cheerleader High Priority

Details

Cheering people on during the run. Encouraging them to keep going as they run by. Hold signs of encouragement. Yelling positive words of encouragement as they run/walk by.

Check In

Volunteer Check-In High Priority

Details

Check the registered volunteers in. Make sure they know where they are to report and direct them as to how to get there if needed. Answer any questions they may have regarding their responsibilities.

5k/Fun Run Participant Check-In High Priority

Check the participants in and give their bib. Make sure they know the schedule leading up to the start of the 5K and Fun Run.

Face Painters High Priority

Paint designs on people's faces. There will be just a few designs that people can choose from to get their face painted.

Smooch-A-Pooch High Priority

Details

Managing the Smooch-A-Pooch booth. This booth is where people pay a small fee to smooch/pet/have a photo made with the cute pooch.

Pup-Kin Patch High Priority

Details

Work with Montgomery Humane Society with the animals they have brought out for adoption. May be helping people check out the animals. Could be refilling water for the animals. Could be walking dogs/holding dogs/picking up after dogs.

Bounce House High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Monitor the Bounce House so there are not too many kids in the house at one time, all the rules are being followed and kids are not hurting each other.

Corn Hole High Priority

Details

Manage pick up corn hole games. Settle any disputes regarding score. Clarify rules of the game for players.

Grab-A-Gourd Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

All registered participants receive a pumpkin. This volunteer will manage that only people with a bib "Grab-A-Gourd".

Helping kids play games such as Pumpkin Ring Toss and Tic=Tac-Toe with pumpkins.

Cleaning up after the event. Collecting all signs/tables etc that was used to set up any part of the run or activities.

Hype Squad High Priority

Details

Get everyone excited to start the run/walk. Do some stretches with the group and get everyone ready to go!
