Volunteers at this location will be responsible for directing runners Mile 1 to turn left on Thunder Road and then to turn right on the Bike Trail. Volunteers will also be responsible for directing runners to turn left off of the Bike Trail onto Thunder Road and to turn right onto Reservation Road. Tasks include encouraging runners.

Aid Station 1 Volunteers High Priority

Volunteers will offer water/Gatorade to each runner who passes this station for the Half Marathon and 5K. This location will be responsible for directing runners for the Half Marathon to proceed past this station and direct runners for the 5K to turn around at the 1.5-mile mark. Tasks include keeping water cups filled, keeping supplies stocked, and encouraging runners. Volunteers will be responsible for setting up and cleaning up water station. This volunteer opportunity will require lifting equipment and other materials.

Course Marshal 2 (Mile 1 & 9 Transition) High Priority

This location will be responsible for directing runners to stay on the Bike Trail both directions. Tasks include being encouraging and diligent to make sure runners are on the correct path as this is a change from the previous course and critical to a successful race.

Volunteers will offer water/Gatorade to each runner who passes this station. This location will be responsible for directing runners on Mile 2 to proceed uphill to the bridge cage to cross Singing River Bridge. This location will also be responsible for directing runners on Mile 8 to cross the Reservation Road and stay on the Bike Trail. Tasks include keeping water cups filled, keeping supplies stocked, and encouraging runners. Volunteers will be responsible for setting up and cleaning up water station. This volunteer opportunity will require lifting equipment and other materials.

Volunteers will offer water/Gatorade to each runner who passes this station. This location will be responsible for directing runners coming out of the bridge cage to take a sharp right toward the parking lot. Tasks include keeping water cups filled, keeping supplies stocked, and encouraging runners. Volunteers will be responsible for setting up and cleaning up water station. This volunteer opportunity will require lifting equipment and other materials.
