Race Day Tasks

Registration Volunteer

August 22, 2020

Details

The registration volunteer will assist runners in checking into the race. You will be giving runners their bib, chip, and t-shirt.

Veterans Memorial Park

Start/Finish Line Volunteer

August 22, 2020

Details

You will:
- assist Mac's Race Timing Service if needed
- make sure runners get to the starting line on time
- help clip chips after the race
- help present awards

Location

Veterans Memorial Park

Course Volunteer

August 22, 2020

Details

You will be:
- setting up the course
- pointing runners in the correct direction along the course
- cheering
- helping to clean up the course

Location

Veterans Memorial Park and the Lake Fayetteville Trail (various points)

Water/Aid Station Volunteer

August 22, 2020

Details

You will:

- help set up water/aid station
- make sure runners can grab water/Gatorade
- clean up any cups or trash along nearby trail
- pack-up water/aid station after the race
