Finish Line Medium Priority

October 5, 2024

October 6, 2024

Details

This job is easy but very important! Often runners are unable to do for themselves and need someone to get them a chair, food or drink and sometimes walked over to the medics if needed.

We also need you to occasionally stir the soup pots until breakfast is ready and keep an eye on the trash in and around the great hall. As captains stop in to return their aid station supplies, you will begin organizing these supplies, putting like items together so that our finish line process runs smoothly and quickly.

There are several time slots so the burden isn't too much for any one person. Please email me or Chris if you would like to work more than one time slot.

Location

Camp Ouachita

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

October 6, 2024

Details

Driving the course to pick up dropped runners. You will rotate going out for pick ups with other shuttle volunteers so that all drivers have an opportunity to sleep at some point.

This is a fun job because you get to really see behind the scenes at aid stations. This is a job you can do solo or bring a buddy to be your co-pilot.

We will have a cabin this year for our shuttle drivers to nap when not in rotation.
