Help direct kids, manage car traffic flow, and be an enthusiastic cheer squad for all of our epic junior racers. Copious amounts of cowbell are encouraged at this position

Pool Deck

Minimum met, 9 volunteer spots remaining.

NOT A LIFEGUARDING FUNCTION. The Pool Deck crew helps to organize waves of swimmers based on provided spreadsheets, answer questions, and be sure that our young swimmers have a fun and successful time in the pool.

Finish Line

Minimum met, 5 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

The Finish Line crew has the job of being the final motivational smile and cheer squad as our youth racers finish their event. You will help ensure that they cross the finish line safely, give them their finisher medal, a water, a slice of pizza, and a high five, all with a huge smile and lots of cheers. Copious cowbell is encouraged at this position.

Transition

Minimum met, 19 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Transition can be the most chaotic and confusing part of a triathlon for new athletes. The transition crew is a smiling, helpful face that can help guide kids through setting up their gear if needed, show they how to get in/out of transition, and help contact the Transition Lead if they have last minute emergencies (like a lost swim cap or goggles). No experience required. We will train you. You just need to come with a smile and a loud voice.

Set Up Crew

Minimum met, 19 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

The set up crew is the most critical element to a timely start. Set up will be from 6am to 8am. All course marking will be done the night before. Morning set up crew is responsible for helping set up transition, lots of cones, and the finish line/awards area.
