Grab a friend and spend Labor Day with us on the Long Beach waterfront!

We’re looking for volunteers to help monitor the Labor of Love Run course along the beach path. Volunteers will be stationed at critical turns and key points throughout the course to help guide runners, keep participants on course, and make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable race experience.

No experience necessary — we’ll provide instructions and assign you a location.

Come cheer on some runners, enjoy a morning at the beach, and help us make race day happen!

Volunteers will help set up and hand out water, keep the station stocked and tidy, and make sure our runners stay hydrated as they make their way along the course.

Gear Check volunteers will help receive, organize, store, and return participants’ personal items while they are out running the Labor of Love Run.

Help keep everything organized and make sure runners can quickly and easily retrieve their belongings when they cross the finish line.

Finish Line Refreshment volunteers will help set up, organize, stock, and hand out post-race refreshments to participants after they finish their race.

Keep the refreshments flowing, congratulate our finishers, and help keep the area clean and organized throughout the event.
