BIKE RIDE - Saturday, February 24, 2024

Bike Marshal High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Minimum met.

Details

Assist bike riders on the 20 miles, 50 miles of the bike rides.

When the pre-rides are scheduled, they will be communicated to you.

Pre-rides are mandatory so as to familiarize marshals with the different routes and assignments.

Marshals are subject to acceptance by the Firecracker Bike Ride Committee.

**Note: Lunch WILL NOT be provided at Rest Stop locations this year. Volunteers are asked to return to Chinatown to the Volunteer Check In Booth at 419 W. College St. Lot to pick up ticket for Lunchtime.

SAG Wagon High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

SAG volunteers must be 18+ years of age and approved by the Bike Director.

**Note: Lunch WILL NOT be provided at Rest Stop locations this year. Volunteers are asked to return to Chinatown to the Volunteer Check In Booth at 419 W. College St. Lot to pick up ticket for Lunchtime.

Saturday Registration

Details

Assist with participant registration, issue race packets to Pre-registration Early Pick-up.

Assist participants with check in, bib distribution and other tasks as needed.

*Volunteers are requested to not bring backpacks to the registration volunteering area.

Saturday Event Set-up High Priority

Details

Volunteers will assist with setting up booths/barricades/signs, clean-up and other tasks as needed in the booth expo area.

Must be physically able to lift 20 pounds.

Assist to set-up nedal booth, distribute medals, and clean-up.

Assist to set-up, and distribute refreshment to participants with other tasks as needed.

Rest stop volunteers will help to set up tables, trash cans, set up snacks, drinks and maintain supplies

Clean up and breakdown tables, leftovers and load truck.

**Note: Lunch WILL NOT be provided at Rest Stop locations this year. Volunteers are asked to return to Chinatown to the Volunteer Check In Booth at 419 W. College St. Lot to pick up ticket for Lunchtime.

Volunteers 18 yrs. or older only, unless minors can be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Saturday Bike Ride Flagger Volunteers High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Bike Ride Volunteer Flaggers will be placed at strategic spots along the course to caution and/or direct the riders to upcoming turns and critical spots along the way.

The flaggers will be supplied with the proper signage at those critical areas.
