Course Volunteer

Course Marshal

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 22 more volunteers needed.

Details

Course Marshals direct runners to stay on the designated course and may be required to control traffic at certain locations. Course Marshals need to be able to point the direction runners need to go as well as call out verbal directions.

Arrive by 6:15am to check in at Start Area in back lot by track at Napa Valley College.

Location

Locations will be around Napa Valley College, on the Napa River Trail and in Kennedy Park.

Water Station

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Water station volunteers will need to set up the table, lay out cups and fill them 1/2 full with water before the runners arrive. As runners pass, volunteers will hold out water cups and call out "Water!" At least one volunteer will be in charge of restocking water table as runners are passing.

Arrive by 6:15am to check in at Start Area in back lot by track at Napa Valley College.

Location

The Turkey Chase will have two water stations. One will be at the north traffic circle at Napa Valley College. The second one will be just south of the boat ramp in Kennedy Park.

Start/Finish Line Volunteer

Medal Distribution Low Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Hand out medals to participants as they cross the finish line. Hand out ribbons to kids after kids 100m dash.

Arrive by 6:15am to check in at Start Area in back lot by track at Napa Valley College.

Location

Finish Line in parking lot behind Napa Valley College track.

Packet Pick-up Medium Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 8 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will hand out race numbers and T shirts to participants at check in.

Arrive by 6:15am to check in at Start Area in back lot by track at Napa Valley College.
