You will advertise the great prizes we'll have available to win, sell prize tickets prior to the 5K starting, and distribute prizes after the participants return from the 5K!

You can choose to run or walk the 5K with the rest of the participants after your volunteer shift selling tickets. We will ask 2 volunteers to stay back and sell additional tickets as soon as participants return from the walk/run. Volunteering in this role gets you free registration and a free event t-shirt.

If you'd like to also participate in the 5K, you are welcome to. The preference is that the volunteer in this position run the 5K so that you can get back quickly and tend to the refreshment table as other participants start to return as well.
