About the Event
Abrazo 2027 celebrates 20 years of The FRONT Arte & Cultura in San Ysidro.
The Abrazo 5K Walk & 10K Run is Casa Familiar's signature annual fundraiser, bringing together runners, walkers, and supporters from San Ysidro, Tijuana, and communities across the South Bay.
2027 marks 20 years of Casa Familiar's The FRONT Arte & Cultura. As an organization and community, we have long centered arte y cultura as a way to uplift community voice, foster belonging, and strengthen connections across generations. This enduring commitment inspires our Abrazo 2027 theme, Roots Run Deep, a celebration of where we come from and the future we are growing together.
This year’s Abrazo will directly benefit our Arts & Culture Programming, allowing us to continue supporting local artists and expanding a workforce development program that provides youth with technical training. We honor 20 years of creativity and belonging, and we invite you to help us continue strengthening spaces where arte and cultura flourish.
