This is an extremely important volunteer position. These volunteers will be on bikes and armed with a backpack with water bottles and some kind of calories and electrolytes (gel, bar, etc.) They will be riding back and forth with the last batch of runners making sure they are doing ok. There are always people struggling on the course and sometimes past the course time limit...we don't want to make them stop but also not fair to ask our aid stations to remain all day. So we rely on our course angels to take care of these runners.
