Aid Station Volunteer High Priority

Details

You will be responsible for setting up and taking down the aid station. Your role will be cheering on the runners and providing hydration as they come through. After the last runner comes through you will break down the aid station and bring all supplies to the finish.

Details

You will be responsible for checking in runners on race morning and handing out BIB numbers. The timing company will provide tablets and guidance on how to check in runners. You will want to arrive about 45 minutes before BIB pickup to set up tables and get supplies for check in.

You will be responsible for setting up the event about 60 minutes before BIB pickup. You will set up folding tables, pop up tents, trash cans and any other tasks on race morning.

You will be responsible for breaking down tents, tables, trash, sweeping the property after everyone has left to ensure no trash is left behind and any other tasks after the event.

You will be responsible for greeting runners at the finish line, asking if they had a good time or if they need anything. You will make sure trash cans are managed (empty when full) and that there is toilet paper available if we run out. Helping runners get hydration and snacks after they finish and if anyone needs medical attention or is frustrated to bring them to the race director.
