- Ensure all runners have a tags and pins.
- Accept payment from non-member participants.
- Answer participant questions regarding course, finish chute protocol, etc.

- Announce next 4-5 upcoming waves in the advance.
- Ensure runners stay in their waves.

- Double check wave numbers on tags and make sure no one is starting in an incorrect wave.
- Record anyone that missed their wave and is starting late.

- Instruct them how to tear off their tag.
