- For registered runners, apply preprinted label to race tags.
- Ensure all runners have a tags and pins
- Shuttle race day registrant information to the start line.

- Announce next 4-5 upcoming waves in the advance.
- Ensure runners stay in their waves.

This volunteer will check to make sure the next wave includes the correct runners.
- Double check wave numbers on tags and make sure no one is starting in an incorrect wave.
- Record anyone that missed their wave and is starting late.

- Make sure runners stay in order in the chute.
- Instruct them how to tear off their tag.
- Collect tags at end of chute and file them in order.
