Details

Help set up at Trail Ridge Middle School to assemble backpacks for Crayons to Calculators St. Vrain Valley.

~ This day will be used to prepare packing site; unwrapping pallets, setting up tables, sorting boxes, staging supplies and etc.

~ Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes and wear closed toed shoes

~ Bring work gloves (if you have)

~ Bring a water bottle

~ Volunteers may anticipate tasks that involve: standing, lifting items (20lbs plus), moving boxes, sorting supplies and walking throughout the site during their shift

~ There will be a site coordinator available for questions and direction during your time

~ Some shifts may end early if all tasks are completed for your assigned time

Volunteers should park in the east parking lot near the basketball courts. They will enter through door #15.

Please do not go to the main school entrance.

Back Pack Assembly

Details

Assemble backpack to be sent to all schools in St. Vrain Valley Schools.

~ Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes and wear closed toed shoes

~ Bring work gloves (if you have)

~ Bring a water bottle

~ Volunteers may anticipate tasks that involve: standing, lifting items (5lbs plus), moving boxes, sorting supplies, adding supplies to back packs and walking throughout the site during their shift

~ There will be a site coordinator available for questions and direction during your time

~ Some shifts may end early if all tasks are completed for your assigned time

~ Other tasks may be asked of you, including, counting/quality control, cleaning work area or moving pallets

~ Students under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Students 13 and above must have a signed waiver by a guardian or parent
