Monday Clean up (Volunteer Points - 3) High Priority

Details

Help clean, organize, inventory, and pack all the race gear in the Banefski's garage! Nobody likes to clean-up after a party, but it's a chore that has to be done. We appreciate the post race cleanup folks so much we award them with our highest per shift volunteer points!

Start Finish Line Aid Station - General High Priority

Tasks include: Setup check-in tables and tents, parking control, runner check-in, food prep and service.

There will be several hours between the race start and the race finish. We encourage volunteers to get some rest, head to town and get some food or go out for a run of their own during this time.

This aid station is very difficult to access. It is about 5 miles up the Antero Jeep road on the saddle between Antero and Mount White. We recommend Volunteers at this aid station have a high clearance off road vehicle, though rides may be available.

Course Marking and Sweeping

Course Marking - Start to Raspberry Gulch High Priority

This volunteer task is full.

Details

This is a 7.3 Mile Course Marking Section with about 1,300 feet of gain. Markers will be responsible for placing markers about every 1/4 of a mile. Markers will be required to have a GPS device with the course downloaded to insure accurate marking. We will have two markers for this section. The markers will have the option to run an out and back from the start finish or to coordinate a car shuttle allowing for only a one way run.

Course Sweeping Raspberry 1 to Raspberry 2 High Priority

This is an 18.4 mile sweeping section with over 5,000 ft of gain. Sweepers will be in charge of making sure the race "leaves no trace." This means collecting all course markers and any stray trash left behind. Sweepers will also make sure all runners make it safely to the next aid station.
