We will need a number of volunteers - working in shifts throughout the 24 event period -- to help in S/F area with such things as:

1) Checking off runners as they complete each lap.
2) Cooking pieorgies/meatballs and making sure runners' nutrition and hydration needs are met.

We will have 1 Aid station, at the S/F, that we will need to operate for 24 hours - from 5:30 pm on Friday, 2/14 til 5:30 pm on Saturday, 2/15. We'd like to have 1-3 volunteers at the aid station throughout. There will be four shifts:

5-midnight - 2/14
midnight - 6 am – 2/15
6 am - 12 noon – 2/15
noon - 5:30 pm – 2/15

Details

We have an aid station set up at the upper intersection of Mason Creek and Bear Paw trails. We use this mostly to monitor our runners since water inevitably freezes. We do set up a tent at the site and provide chairs, sleeping bag and pad , hand/toe warmers and lanterns. We'll do 6-7 hour shifts.

This site is approximately 2 miles from the start and, depending on conditions, we can get you part way on an ATV. You'll want to dress super warm, as it can get frosty up there.
