Mascots for a Cure is local nonprofit organization with a National reach. We help to fight childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, by providing hope, joy, and love to the most courageous children in the world.

Volunteers are the heart and backbone of any great organization. We are not able to organize these fun, unique, and impactful events without volunteers like you.

Location

Please show up 1/2 an hour before your scheduled volunteer shift. You can check in at the Volunteer tent where you will be directed to your volunteer area.

At Packet Pick Up you will be cheking participants in, giving them their swag bags, bibs, and t-shirt (if ordered). We will have a master sheet that will help to keep this process organized.

Course clean up will include removing all trash, taking down all banners and signs, collecting all cones, equipment, etc. We want to make sure that the City of Wilmington is happy with our event and so we want to leave the course in better shape than we found it.

At the water station you will be filling up small cups of water and handing them to the participants as needed at the half way point on the course.

You will be helping to keep the overall after party fun and organized. You will be assisting Stitch House Brewery and MFAC staff as needed, helping to hand out any medals / prizes, and collecting tickets. ***Must be over 21 years of age for this volunteer opportunity.
