Volunteer

Details

You will be unpacking and organizing backpacks and school supplies. Setting up the vendor hallway. This involves bending, picking up boxes, moving tables, and more.

What to wear/bring: Comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes are preferred.

Who should volunteer: all ages are welcome! Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and unpack boxes. School-aged children are welcome to volunteer for this shift. We will have community service letters for those who need them.

Details

You will assist with check-in. This includes checking in participants, helping with the flow of traffic, leading children to the shopping area and ‘floating’

Who should volunteer: Must be comfortable using your own smartphone and scanning participants’ QR codes.

You will assist each child as they ‘shop’ for school supplies

Who should volunteer: Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods. Be willing to help children try on shoes (bending down).

We will need you in the school supply area making sure all the supplies are neat and orderly throughout the event. Keep all grade tables stocked with appropriate supplies. Breakdown boxes and take out the trash.

After students pick out their supplies they will be directed to the courtyard. In the courtyard, there will be multiple activities. We need help managing these activities and reuniting students with their parents.
This is primarily outside. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
