This stop is approximately 1.0 miles from the start and finish line. It is at the La Chua Trail parking lot. The table, water, Gatorade and supplies will be at the stop. Please set up the table and start filling cups. Clean up cups and trash afterwards. Leave table and supplies for pick-up.

Direct 5k runners where to turn around. The 5k turn-around is in the sink approximately 0.5 miles from the La Chua Trail parking lot.

Lead Bike Marshall High Priority

Details

Lead the front pack of runners on the 10k route. After the winner crosses the finish line you can head back out to check for distressed runners.

Bicycle Safety Patrol

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Ride back and forth along the course to help distressed runners and provide any other needed assistance such as contacting the race director.

Details

Help direct parking to avoid a traffic jam near the trailhead. Send cars to overflow parking area. Advise other park users that the trail is open to all.

Water stop near 10k turn around High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

This stop is approximately 3 miles from the start/finish line, and about 1 mile from the parking area off of Hawthorne Road. Volunteers will hand water or Gatorade to runners. After runners have finished volunteers will clean up the area before leaving. Also, remind runners to turn around at the cone and head back. Pack up the table, coolers and trash in the wagon and pull the wagon back to the parking area.
