Aid Station Volunteers

Aid Station # 1 Volunteer (Start/Finish)

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

This aid station will be located at the start/finish area. Volunteers will fill cups with water and Gatorade and place them on the table. They will continue to fill the cups to keep up with the runner demand. Runners will grab the cups off the table.

This stop will be located at the race start/ finish location. Only one table

Aid Station # 2 Volunteer

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will need to drive to aid station #2. The aid station is about 1.5 miles down the trail from the start of the race and is just east of the trail crossing at SE 200 Dr.
Volunteers will fill cups with water and Gatorade and place them on the table. They will continue to fill the cups to keep up with the runner demand. Runners will grab the cups off the table.

This location will have tables on both sides of the trail for traffic going both directions

Aid Station # 3 Volunteer

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will need to drive to aid station #3. The aid station is about 2.5 miles down the trail from the start of the race and is just east of the trail crossing at State Road 2082.
Volunteers will fill cups with water and Gatorade and place them on the table. They will continue to fill the cups to keep up with the runner demand. Runners will grab the cups off the table.

This location will have tables on both sides of the trail for traffic going both directions

Aid Station # 4 Volunteer (Turnaround)

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will need to drive to aid station #4. The aid station is about 3.25 miles down the trail from the start of the race and is just east of the trail crossing at SE 169 st (very small dirt road, more like a driveway)

Volunteers will fill cups with water and Gatorade and place them on the table. They will continue to fill the cups to keep up with the runner demand. Runners will grab the cups off the table.

They will also make sure runners know they are approaching the turn around point.

Location

This location will be at the turnaround, with only one table for traffic going in one direction back towards the start/finish so right after the turnaround.

Details

This volunteer will stop traffic/ warn runners as they cross SE 200 Dr. This is a small dirt road crossing so it will be relaxed and low stress. Bring a chair and get ready to cheer!

This Volunteer will be the lead bike. They will lead the fastest runner and make sure other runners know they are coming.

Details

Course marshalls will monitor the course while riding on a bicycle as the race is on a trail that does not allow motor vehicles (except in case of emergency vehicles or official park business). Course marshalls will assist participants in need, must have a cell phone to call 911 in case of emergency.

Traffic Crossing at 2082 High Priority

Details

Due to the race day change, we do not have an officer for the most dangerous road crossing on the course. We need a volunteer who can stop traffic to let runners cross going both directions at this location. This volunteer will stop road traffic and let runners cross only when it is safe.
