Jacksonville Landing Center Court

The position is responsible for marking each athlete with a Large Black Marker in the same format as sample provided. You will need to be able to stand and squat frequently while writing on both arms and legs of each athlete. This is used to help identify each athlete as they pass through the course.

The position is responsible for one or more of these jobs; controlling athlete entry to the transition area, ensuring that only athletes will enter transition area, assures that all bicycles have working brakes and bar end caps, provide assistance with bike rack positioning and space allocation

The position is responsible for providing transition support and direction throughout the event; ensure all bicycles leaving transition are removed by the proper athlete as indicated by number match

The position is responsible for providing athlete direction to transition; ensures that spectators stay clear of the athlete pathway from swim exit to transition entrance.

Marshals will be stationed at the entrance of the dock or on the dock and will assist Swim Coordinator with getting the Sprint athletes ready for the start.

Hogan St Pavilion next to the Jacksonville Landing

The position must be able to swim and willing to get wet. Marshal�s will be stationed on the swim exit docks and will provide assistance to swimmers coming out of the water.

The position will be under the direction of the Swim Coordinator; must be certified lifeguard. Guards will be stationed at the swim exit area and along the course. They will remove athletes who cannot continue safely.

Provide kayak support on the swim course.

You will meet Jim Alabiso at the Riverside Arts Market at Fuller Warren Bridge dock. You will need to bring your Kayak to this dock and he will put assign you a position at that time.

Intersection of Bay St & AP Randolph St.

The position is responsible for providing a manual backup to the chip timing system by recording athlete numbers as they pass through transition points.

The position is responsible for providing bottled water to athletes as they cross the finish line; restocking coolers with drinks and ice as needed.

The position is responsible for placing a finisher medal around the neck of each athlete as they cross the finish line or at award presentation.

The position is responsible for having food prepared and available to athletes as the complete the race; must be able to utilize sharp knives; individuals suffering from any illness will not be allowed to prepare food; plastic gloves must be worn at all times
